About Kate

Kate King is a master’s level Board Certified Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor. Kate's practice is located in the Ken Caryl Business District of Littleton, Colorado just off C-470 and Kipling Parkway. Working with children, teens, adults, and couples, Kate provides support to her clients in their process of cultivating optimal mental, physical, and spiritual health.

Kate works with individuals and couples experiencing difficult transitions, eating disorders, pregnancy and new-parent issues, depression and anxiety, trauma treatment, developing coping skills and emotional outlets, relationship strengthening, and therapeutic creative expression.


Kate graduated from the University of Denver with her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and art, and continued with her graduate education at Naropa University where she graduated with a Master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology and Art Therapy.

Kate's approach to therapy offers a holistic, preventive health perspective which incorporates verbal, creative, and body-centered therapy skills and techniques. Kate operates from a treatment modality that considers each person in their mental, spiritual, physical, and emotional entirety. Kate believes that each person is capable of choosing their life's path, and re-creating their story along the way. Kate also believes in the inherent wisdom, strength, and wholeness that each individual holds within, which can provide guidance, healing, and support for them throughout life.
